Willaim G. McCarroll is a visionary architect dedicated to creative design and innovation.  He is a noted renovation specialist committed to heritage preservation, while re-imagining space to meet today’s challenges and lifestyle demands. Countless hours spent in Canada’s rugged natural spaces have given him a unique appreciation for the natural environment. William believes the built environment should be conceived of in place and that good design should strive to achieve harmony with its surroundings. After several years working with architecture firms in Victoria, Canada, he moved to Brittany, France in 2022 with his wife and children. Shortly thereafter, he founded Goaz Conception, a company whose name is derived from the Breton word for “stream” or “flow.” It serves as a metaphor that helps him define his process of seeking a natural flow and order in his approach to architectural design.
